MIAMI CRUISE MONTH
This January, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau inaugurates its first ever
Miami Cruise Month, providing enticing offers to book cruises departing from PortMiami.
The program aims to provide special incentives to patrons booking a cruise with
itineraries leaving out of PortMiami. The program will offer pre- and post-cruise hotel
packages, attraction offers, and heritage neighborhood tours. Miami Cruise Month
encourages consumers to plan-ahead and book a cruise on a participating cruise line. Up
to date, cruise lines with special offers and incentives for consumers booking cruises in
January include: Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, MSC, Norwegian Cruise Line,
Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Royal Caribbean International. For more

EXCLUSIVE MIAMI SUN CARE PRODUCT TO LAUNCH
Miami Beach has officially become a brand name! The city of Miami Beach has
partnered with Destination Brands International, LLC to bring us the official and
exclusive sun care product line of Miami Beach. The deal will allow Miami Beach
to lend its name to an official sunscreen line, complete with a Miami Beach
fragrance. The products will combine unique elements of the sea with the sun
protecting properties that ensure skin is protected, hydrated, nourished, and
looking good. Miami Beach sun care products include the sunscreen gel, lotion,
spray, and bronzer. The products aim to strengthen the Miami Beach brand and
continue to build and reinforce it. In an effort to keep Miami Beach beautiful, a
portion of all proceeds will go towards local beach cleanup efforts. Product line is
expected to be available in 2014 at several locations in Miami including local
drug stores and beauty supplies.
CNN NAMES THE BETSEY- SOUTH BEACH ONE OF THE WORLDS GREAT LITERARY
HOTELS
The Betsey- South Beach has been chosen by CNN as the only Miami literary arts -
hotel and singular hotel in the southeastern U.S. Since opening, The Betsy-South
